3. Make sure you’re 13+ years old
If the date of birth linked to the Roblox account shows that the user is under 13, the user will automatically have a safe chat enabled. Once the safe chat mode is enabled on the Roblox account, it will continue to be active until the user is 13 years old. At this point, the safe chat should be disabled automatically.
If you are 13+ and entered your age incorrectly when you created your account, you will create a new account with the correct details. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the date of birth on an account under 13. If the user has since turned 13+ and safe chat mode is still on, contact Roblox support and they will fix it for you.
